Terms of Service

Also see Privacy.

These terms cover Pledgo (https://pledgo.app). If you sign in as a business owner, or you open a booking link as a client, you are using the app under these terms.

Pledgo is a booking and deposit tracker. It does not write contracts, give legal advice, or receive, hold, or move money. Your own terms on a booking are yours. Whether a court treats a client’s agree step as binding is between you, the client, and Philippine law.

Privacy is in a separate page: https://pledgo.app/privacy.

1. Who this is for

Pledgo is for Philippine businesses that take a deposit and collect the rest on a schedule. You must be old enough to run that business and to agree to these terms.

Clients do not create a Pledgo account. They open a booking link in a browser. No app to download.

2. Your account

Business owners sign in with Google. You are responsible for that Google account and for who can use it.

If we need to close an account (abuse, a legal order, or you asked us to), we will do that ourselves. There is no Delete account button in the app yet. Email [email protected].

3. What Pledgo does

  • You create a booking: client, date, package, total, payment schedule, and your own terms.
  • You send one link. The client can agree, type a name, and upload GCash or bank proof.
  • A booking stays pending until you confirm you received the deposit. Agreeing and sending proof is not booked yet.
  • You can track payments, see booked dates on the calendar, and (if you turn it on) send balance reminder emails to the client.

The calendar follows your bookings. Pending dates stay open until a deposit is confirmed. Fully paid is not the same as completed. Completed is an action you take.

4. What Pledgo does not do

  • We do not write your contract or your refund rules.
  • We do not collect, hold, or send GCash, bank, or card payments.
  • We do not check that a screenshot is real money in your account. You check your own GCash or bank, then confirm.
  • We do not promise that a timestamped agree step will win a case in court.

5. Your terms, on your booking

You write the terms that appear on the booking page. You are responsible for those words, for having a lawful reason to collect client data, and for how you treat deposits, cancellations, and refunds.

Pledgo keeps a record of the name the client typed, the terms they ticked, and when they agreed. That record is a tool for you. It is not a lawyer-drafted contract.

6. The booking link

Treat the booking link like a password. Anyone who has it can see that booking, including payout details you chose to show and proof photos for that booking.

If you post the link in a group chat or on the public internet, that is on you. We are not a bank. The usual leak is a forwarded link.

7. Payments and proof

The client pays you on GCash or bank. Pledgo only stores the proof screenshot, the amount they said they sent, and whether they used GCash or bank. We never touch the money.

A date is booked in Pledgo when you confirm the deposit. If you confirm by mistake, that is a studio action, not a Pledgo payment.

8. Reminders

Balance reminders go to the client email you saved, in Philippine time, about a due date. No client email, no send. Reminders stop when you mark that payment received.

Email can fail (spam, a typo, the provider). A missed reminder is not a missed payment, and it is not our collection of the money.

9. Free plan

Pledgo is free to use. No credit card. You can keep 5 active bookings. Mark one completed or cancel one to add another.

We may change the free limit later. If we do, we will say so on the site. We will not charge a card we do not have.

10. Acceptable use

Do not use Pledgo to scam people, collect data you have no right to hold, upload illegal content, attack the app, or pretend to be someone else.

We can suspend or close an account that does those things, or that we have to close because of the law.

11. The app can break

We work to keep Pledgo up. We do not promise it will always be available, or that a booking, proof, or email will never fail. Keep your own copies of important terms and receipts if you need them outside the app.

12. Liability

Pledgo is provided as is. We are not liable for unpaid balances, fake proof, a client who ghosts you, a deposit dispute, a double-booked date you confirmed, or money that never hit your GCash.

If the law still makes us liable for something we cannot disclaim, that amount is limited to ₱0 (this product does not charge you a fee today) or the smallest amount the law allows, whichever is higher.

13. Philippine law

These terms follow the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes about Pledgo as a product are for Philippine courts, unless a mandatory consumer or privacy rule says otherwise.

14. Changes

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date above. If you keep using Pledgo after that date, the new terms apply to new use.
